A section of NRM youth leaders in northern Uganda endorsed president Yoweri Museveni for 2026 presidential candidature.

A section of NRM youth leaders in northern Uganda endorsed the candidature of president Yoweri Museveni for 2026 presidential elections.

The youth from Lango, West Nile, Acholi and Karamoja led by Odong Robbin Oryono, the NRM youth chairperson of Abim district made the resolution yesterday at Hamilton Hotel in Lira City.

The youth commended president Museveni for promoting peace and regional integration.

Apac Resident District Commissioner George Abudul who coordinates activities in the office of the National NRM chairperson said president Museveni has exhibited high level of leadership and this should be upheld by reelecting him.

Geoffrey Ling the NRM youth Chairperson for Kitgum district municipality said president Museveni has a good plan of uplifting youth from poverty.

Langol Prossy cherished president Museveni for promoting peace in the country.

Nicholas Nuwajala said president Museveni is still energetic despite the fact that some people despise him for being old.
