The Residents District Commissioner of Dokolo District Barbara Akech has asked the civil servants to distance them selve from corruption taking behind people and non performing.
Akech made the remark on Friday while she was speaking as chief during the hand over ceremony of the new CAO at the district council hall in Dokolo district.
She said that services delivery is the most thing that is needed in the District ,However she says that there are some leaders of Dokolo who doesn't support those who have come from outside the district.
She applauded the out going CAO Isaa Mboge for being supportive in the implementation of government programme like parish development model and Emyooga which Dokolo is performing very well.
Addressing the members .Alex Felix Majeme the New CAO that was transfered from Lamwo District ,while assuming the office asked the civil servants to avoid politics ,press and distance them self from things that takes them to police.
Meanwhile,the LC5 chairman of Dokolo,James Otoo Apili also asked civil servants against segregation one another both politician and civil servants,
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Richard Obalima, the vice chairperson of Lamwo asked the RDC to advise the government to ensure that more money is injected in public services department than security so that more people are recruited in all position so that service reach grass roots people.
As allegations of corruption was against the out going CAO, address the people Sebastian Oguti, the deputy Dean of RDCs says that the RDC has no Mandate to arrest any CAO, including DPC apart from the team of region of police.
