Government is in good terms with islamic community-Minister Kadaga

Minister for East African affairs Rt. Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga has assured cooperation between Ugandan government and the Muslim community in Uganda.

The former speaker was in the meeting with Wakiso district Kadhi Sheikh Elias Kigozi and the purpose of this was to foster a closer relationship between the muslim community of Wakiso and the minister’s office and also to invite Hon. Kadaga to the District Kadhi’s upcoming inauguration ceremony happening on 22nd July 2023 in Kaliiti Wakiso.

Sheikh Kigozi emphasized the importance of collaboration between the district and the Ugandan government, particularly in matters related to the islamic community.

Rt. Hon. Kadaga promised to work hand in hand with the muslim community.
