Nalugala Muslim primary school out for international open wood ball championship in Kenya.
Over 90 players were flagged off by National council of sports and the assistant general secretary David Katende called upon the players to represent the country all heartedly, in the 6th Kenya International Open Wood ball championship to take place at Kakamega Masinde Muliro University in Kenya.
Nalugala muslim primary school was represented by 12 pupils (players), Babu Raihan, Wasswa Joseph, Kibuuka Abdul Karim, Solomon Tendo, Segawa David, Katamba Sufian, Kigenyi Nooh, Paricia Phiona, Nabagessera Shanitah, Nayiga Masiturah, officials Umar Yahya Juuko and Hanzal Faruk Ramathan.
The function was also attended by Uganda Wood ball Federation president Paul Mark Kayongo, who argued the players to work hard and keep the Uganda flag high in this game with victory.
The contingent was led by the Uganda Wood ball national team which is to have a friendly match with the national team of Kenya in preparations for the online Wood ball championship slated for 24th this month. The national team is also preparing for the world cup next year in Malaysia
