Police in Kamengo is hunting Kiraga who murdered his wife.

The territorial police of Mpigi, Kamengo is investigating a murder case reported on 4/01/2023 at around 1340hrs where one Kiraga Frank 40 years old, muganda by tribe, a sand miner and a resident of Bukabi village,Musa parish Kamengo s/c allegedly murdered his wife Nabagulanyi Winnie 28 years on 03/01/2023 at unknown time.

It is alleged that couple has been living together in a rented room for over two years and have been having domestic issues for some time. On the 04/01/23 at about 1100 hrs, the reporter while at his home at Namayuki village Musa parish Kamengo Sub county Mpigi District, received a phone call from the Suspect informing him to go and pick the dead body of his daughter (deceased) that he (Suspect) had finished his part.
The reporter immediately rushed to Bukabi vill where the deceased and the Suspect had been staying and found the door to their room locked with a padlock.
The area LC 1 was informed together with other residents who decided to break the padlock . On opening the door, they found the deceased lying on the bed.

Police was informed and a team of Homicide responded to the scene,the body of the deceased conveyed to Gombe Hospital mortuary for Postmortem, the suspect still at large.
Inquiries at hand, any development to be communicated.
