UBF PRESIDENT MOSES MUHANGI REMANDED IN LUZIRA PRISON

Uganda Boxing Federation ( UBF) President Mr Moses Muhangi has been remanded in Luzira Prison till May 31, 2023. His bail application was turned down. He faces charges of fabricating accountability for money disbursed by the National Council of Sports (NCS) for boxing programs. Mr Muhangi is one of the sports administrators on the forefront of fighting National Council of Sports ( NCS) General Secretary Dr Patrick Ogwel for what they term as corruption and mismanagement of NCS. Yesterday Uganda Netball Federation ,(UNF) President Ms Sarah Kityo Babirye was released on a cash bail of Ushs 1,000,000 after being accused of obtaining money by false pretence.
