Leaders of Elia Olet Primary school in lira city East Division are crying foul after the school failing to meet the target of a learning institution for failure attributed to lack of staff Accommodation.
Addressing the SMC /PTA members yesterday, at the school during the annual general meeting for the parents, Ms. Sarah Aol the Head teacher revealed that one of the challenges noted is late coming by the teachers and she requested that this should be addressed before first term kick start next month.
According to her, she appealed to the city division to react faster on the matter so that the structure of Elia Olet primary school also meets the demand of the students.
Meanwhile, responding on the issue raised by the head teacher George Okello Ayo the division mayor, He said the division will construct boys toilet.
Okello Ayo, also requested leaders of lira city , to take over the staff building, that parents failed to upgrade due to lack of resources to reduce the let coming of some teachers who are renting out side the school premises.
On the other hand , Senior Inspector of school for lira city, Tom Omara Ronald, who was the chief guest ,requested parents to collect PTA money in time so that it can be channeled to address this challenge.
Elia Olet primary school is government aided school with the total enrollment of 856 pupils.
