MP Alum release 80M to rehabilitate roads in Oyam district.

As Mps demand more funding to road fund, following the budget that was appropriated for the roads fund is 480b,which translates in to the first Quarter being 120billion.

 According to the presidential Directive government has allocated each district and Municipality 1billion for maintenance of roads outside the Uganda National Roads Authority.

While handing over to the leaders of Oyam district local government, MP Alum says she can't wait from the government to work on the roads while people die everyday due to bad roads .

According to her, the distance of 11km, that starts from Iceme town council up to coner Aloni that will cost 80m to be rehabilitated, through their efforts as members of parliament government as allocated to give 1bilion shilling per district under the Roads fund to help in the maintenance district roads.

Meanwhile, oyam district LC5, Benbson Walter Dila Oyuku welcomed effectiveness from Oyam woman MP Alum to pool her on Money to be used for the rehabilitation of government roads in order to save lives of people.

Also, Oyam district RDC William Komach warned district leaders against miss use of government fund, under Roads fund .
