Nalugala Muslim primary set to make wonders in the 13th edition of Coral coatings Uganda open Woodball championship.

Nalugala Muslim primary school is one of many schools that have been participating in this tournament for years now. This year, preparations are geared up by serious training ahead of the finals scheduled on 8th to 9th this month in Mbale at Mbale sports club.

According to the sports teacher who doubles as the coach for Nalugala Muslim primary school Ramadhan Hamza said that his team is ready and prepared to collect trophies and medals. “our strength is behind our training, experience we hope to come back with victory” Hamza siad.

Hajjat Waliyah Nalweyiso the director talking to Pearl fm told us that they are of support in sports and participants in any possible way. It’s at this point when the headteacher of the school Kalema Abbas pledged envelopes to the winners from the coming tournament according to their performances.

The school is to set off to Mbale on Friday with 14 players namely, Waswa Joseph (Captain), AbdulKarim Kibuuka, Ssegaw David, Babu Rahman, Tendo Solomon, Sofian Katamba, Okello Fahad, Phiona Paricia, Shanita Nabagesera, Shanitah Namujju, Zaku Aisha, Namiiro Hailah among others.

The tournament accommodates various categories to mention, juniors, youth, corporate, Tertiary and seniors all over the country.

Previously the championship was hosted in Wakiso (Entebbe), Mbarara, Arua and Mukono.
