Police at Wakiso have recovered suspected human remains at the home of Ssentongo.

Police at Wakiso have today 24/10/2022 recovered suspected human remains (skull) at the home of Ssentongo Mukaka in Muyomba Village Bukasa Parish Wakiso sub-county.
The recovery followed intelligence information that a group of goons who have been terrorizing members of the public over a land matter were planning to reorganize and attack again.
The Police at Wakiso led by the Division Police Commander carried out an operation intending to arrest the suspects in question. However, most of them fled the area upon sighting our officers.
The officers continued with the operation after receiving information that Mukaka was the one housing the gang. A search was carried out in his makeshift structure that is used as a shrine and a Panga, bags full of clothes and landmark stones were recovered.
Two suspects also were arrested from the shrine at the scene and these have been identified as Lukka Bob and Sali Joseph who operate in the shrine.
We continued further to the main house of Mukasa who was also hiding inside the house and was arrested.
Another search was conducted and in one of the underground rooms, a skull was recovered.
The human remains have been taken to the city mortuary Mulago for postmortem and the three suspects are currently detained at Wakiso Police division on allegations of Murder, Assault and Malicious damage.
Investigations into the matter continue.
