Te kwaro Lango threatens to sue Lango cultural foundation for illegal operation.

Prime minister of Tekwaro Lango George Ojwang Opota has warned that they will take legal action against cultural leaders still using the names of Lango cultural foundation after the constitutional court ruled that Lango cultural foundation was not known.

In 2017, lawyer Krispus Ayena Odongo filed a petition in court seeking to annul the election and installation of Yosam Odur Ebii, of Lango cultural foundation and Eng. Dr. Michael Moses Odongo Okune since the constitution used to elect and install them was illegal.

Recently, the constitutional court led by lady justice Irene Mulyagonja dismissed the petition filed by Ayena Odongo and stated that, Lango cultural foundation is not a body corporate (not a registered entity) and can neither drag or be dragged to court.

Tekwaro Lango Prime Minister George Ojwang Opota told a press conference that some cultural leaders have continued to use the names of Lango cultural foundation despite court pronouncing that the body is not operational.

Ojwang asked government to come out to ensure Lango cultural foundation does not continue to operate illegally.

He said they will go to court to seek further action against Lango cultural foundation.
