Apac leads in murder cases in North Kyoga region

Apac district is leading in murder cases in North Kyoga region with at least two cases reported in a week.

Police in Apac district have identified the suspected killer's of Alemo Thomas,44.

The deceased until his killing was a resident of Oyeyi cell,Aminteng Ward,agulu division in Apac municipality.
His death was reported to police by Acato Francis 66 on January 19 at 3pm.

The key suspects on the run are Alemo Daniel,Obia Ronald,Odongo Vincent, And Ogwang Peter, while speaking on this matter,SP jimmy Patrick Okema PRO North Kyoga region Kyoga region it’s a alleged that on January 19,2024 ,ln the morning the suspects accused Alemo deceased now of stealing a Bull and he was beaten to death.

A Case of murder by a mod has been registered at APAC Central police station under CRB 070/2024., while no arrest has been made yet, suspects still at large, according to Okema.

Police said this is a very unfortunate incident and we are strongly condomn the action of these suspects we continue appealing to members of the public to always respect the rule of law.

Article 22 of the constitution of Uganda talks about protection of the right to life,no one has any right to remove the life of another,we there fore advise the community members to support police with investigation of any person who is alleged to have committed offence.
